# MiCA & DLT Pilot Regime

T-Blocks monitors and aligns with the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and the EU DLT Pilot Regime (Regulation (EU) 2022/858).

**MiCA.** MiCA establishes a comprehensive regulatory framework for crypto-assets in the EU. T-Blocks instruments are structured as financial instruments under MiFID II — not as crypto-assets under MiCA. However, the digital rail infrastructure (token issuance, digital custody, digital venue distribution) may be subject to MiCA or DLT Pilot Regime requirements depending on the specific distribution channel.

**DLT Pilot Regime.** The EU DLT Pilot Regime allows regulated market infrastructures (MTFs, settlement systems) to use DLT for the trading and settlement of financial instruments. T-Blocks' digital rail distribution partners may operate under the DLT Pilot Regime, providing a regulated framework for on-chain trading and settlement of tokenized instruments.

T-Blocks structuring under Luxembourg securitisation law provides regulatory clarity: the instruments are regulated financial instruments, not unregulated crypto-assets. This distinction is critical for institutional investors and distribution partners operating under EU regulatory frameworks.
